So I'm up in Alexandria Va where I've come to realize they don't have actual roads. It's just a series of on and off ramps.

Blinkers mean "this guy wants to come into my lane so I must speed up and block them"

At around noon I tried to buy a drink from the gas station and my card was declined. Looking like a dick I switched quickly to my backup card. 5 minutes later I get a text from Navy Fed asking if I authorized a purchase. 5 hours later I get a call to unblock my account. Glad I'm not 150 miles away from home or anything.. oh wait.

There's no bar or restaurant anywhere near me (walking distance since I have the company vehicle) and the beers at the hotel are $5 a piece.

I left my laptop at home and also forgot my chromecast and hdmi cord.

So what's up Oppo?

Where in Alexandria was you at? Old Town has a couple bar like places. There's also a strip club in Crystal City, if ya want. Pretty close to Alexandria.

Old town south I believe. Only problem there is company vehicle, try not to take any chances. Now if walking distance I'd be all about it but my current hotel view is looking at highway :/

It's right in Crystal City, don't bother though. It's between a 7-11 and a Chinese restaurant so I wouldn't mess with those strippers.

it's supposed to look like this

but instead it fell off at 70mph and bounced against the side of my van until I slowed down enough to grab it. It's hanging there because it's hard wired in. The magnet or suction base gave out

If you're sick of on/off ramps, you can hop on the George Washington Parkway and get stuck behind slow cars.

Between a 7-11 and Chinese place sounds like the classiest possible location for any boobie barn. Imagine the hilarity of someone having getting lit then wandering into the wrong one.

Ah yes that's the wonderful uplander. It's about as base model as base models get. It hops curbs well and keeps on trucking. We even ripped the back seats out of it (#weightreduction #becauseracevan) to make room for gear, tools, ladders (I'm lying it's just for #trackdaybro).

Well one ended up all over my fucking hotel room when I tried to use the door striker as a bottle opener. The sink, door, floor, other wall, mirror, tissues... All covered in beer.
